Here at GRCC, we know that modern students face a number of challenges. In addition to the usual stressors of taking classes, working one or more jobs, and maintaining a social/family life, this year has added yet another stressor that comes with a whole new set of challenges: a global pandemic. Because we recognize the difficulty of maintaining one's mental health while in school, GRCC offers free counseling for every student.
Is Counseling Right for You?
Counseling can benefit anyone, and counselors can help their clients tackle a number of different issues. While many people think that counseling is only for those suffering deeply from depression or another mental health condition, this assumption is simply untrue. Counseling can help you achieve any personal mental, emotional, or social health goal you have. Whether your goal is to manage depression, learn time-management skills, reduce stress and anxiety, or pick the right career, GRCC counselors are here to help!
